APS Beamline Commissioning Is Underway
The Advanced Photon Source (APS) upgraded storage ring is complete and the facility’s beamlines are in the process of returning to scientific operation. Every APS beamline will undergo operational, technical and scientific commissioning before restarting its general user program. Initial operations will be at a reduced current and availability as the machine is tuned up.

Notre Dame Students Visited Helix!
Helix BioStructures Hosted Notre Dame Esteem Graduate Students
Helix BioStructures recently welcomed around 50 students from Notre Dame’s ESTEEM graduate program, which focuses on business and entrepreneurship. CEO Joshua Carter gave an inspiring speech, encouraging students to embrace innovation and leadership in the evolving business landscape.
After the speech, the students toured our facilities to learn more about how Helix operates as a business in the biotech CRO industry. The visit was a great opportunity to showcase our company and share insights with future entrepreneurs. We look forward to continued engagement with academic programs.
