Bacterial
One Shot™ BL21 Star™ (DE3) E. coli cells are optimized for high-level protein expression using T7-promoter systems, with enhanced mRNA stability and reduced degradation. Lacking key proteases, this strain supports high-density growth and is widely used for IPTG-inducible protein production.
The Pseudomonas fluorescens (Pf) expression system enables gram-level protein expression for applications across a range of industrial biotechnology and agricultural applications.
Insect
The ExpiSf9™ insect cell line and chemically defined baculovirus expression system can generate three-times more protein compared to other insect expression platforms. The ExpiSf9 expression system enables greater consistency across multiple expression runs, all in less time.
Mammalian
Expi293F™ cells are highly transfectable and generate superior protein yields compared to standard 293 cell lines in transient protein expression.
ExpiCHO™ cells are optimized for transient protein expression in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells known for their ability to produce complex glycosylated proteins. This system offers increased protein yield over industry standard CHO systems.
Yeast
The PichiaPink™ Yeast Expression System contains both low and high copy plasmid backbones, 8 secretion signal sequences and 4 yeast strains to ensure highest yield possible for recombinant protein production.
